This 1973 TR6 is straight out of a long term, 29 year, storage. Licensed last expired November of 1982. It is very complete but needs a total restoration. I have a good Missouri title for it issued in my name. VEHICLE CONDITION BODY: Straight, not rust free. Take a look at the pics. You will get the idea of the task ahead of you should you choose to undertake it. It will need a drivers side floor pan and I suppose if you get in there and start poking around, it might need the passenger side as well. Rust present in the rocker area, top of rear fenders above the tail lights, rear fuel cowl, some bubbling on the door. At one time it appears that the latch for the bonnet failed and they pryed the bonnet on the passenger side to get to the latch. A wire was placed and ran into the passenger side compartment to release it rather than just fix the faulty release cable. There is some damage to the top of the right front fender as a result of this prying effort. Some flaking in the spare tire compartment in the trunk. Straight bumpers. The frame has one small spot of rust on the outer corner back in the usual area where the trailing arm mounts. It has what I believe to be only surface rust otherwise. INTERIOR: Chestnut brown, needs to be redone. Dash is in good shape with all gauges and switches intact. MECHANICAL: It needs to be totally gone through. I cannot get the engine to turn over, presently soaking it with Kroil. Very complete, nothing missing. Transmission shifts through all gears. It is a standard 4 speed. In summary, yes you can go buy any old project car but most of them have been picked over and some parts are missing. This car is complete, only known part missing is the shifter knob. PLEASE, no texts, no emails. TERMS OF THIS AUCTION Payment: Must be paid with a certified cashiers check, or cash in person......all of which are due within 7 days of the auction end. No paypal, no bringing the cashiers check and expecting to pick up the car without it clearing the bank first. Pickup of the car: Please make your plans to pick up the car no later than May 6th. Storage fees will begin on May 7th in the amount of $20 per day. If you need more time, all you have to do is ask and have me agree to it prior to the auction end. The car, nor the title, will be released until the car is picked up and any storage fees due are paid in full. I will assist with helping load the car for transport if needed. Please bring your own trailer, ramps, tie downs, etc. as none will be provided. Pickup of this car must be done prior to dark as I live on a winding country road and don't need it blocked late in the day.
