1936 Willys 77 Sedan. This is a very rare, 2-owner, California car. It has been in the same family since it was purchased in 1965 and restored over a 5 year period. Since the restoration was completed in 1970, it has only been driven approximately 5,000 miles. The odometer shows 86,832 miles. We believe this to be accurate but cannot guarantee it. The restoration included body, paint and chrome work, a rebuilt motor, and new mohair seats, door panels and headliner, and more. Custom, hand painted pinstriping was applied to the body and the spoke wheels. Because the car has always been garaged, the paint and interior still look great. Maintenance, repairs and upgrades have continued since the restoration so the car needs nothing. The lights, horn and all gauges are in working order. Recently the car received new tires and a new gas tank. The car runs, shifts, and stops as it should. While not 100% perfect, it shows very well as can be seen in the photos. More photos are available upon request. The car comes with many spare parts, too. This includes: Starter, generator, bell housing, head, hub caps, thermostat. This is an opportunity to own a true classic. Very few of these exist and when you take it to a classic car show or event, you are almost guaranteed to have the only one in the show! This is a very simple car and therefore it is economical to own. I have described the car as accurately as I can.
