For Sale is a Mercedes 300D turbo diesel sedan. Daily driver in great condition. No Rust, as you can see from the photos of the usual spots. As far as I know, the car has been in Texas and Wyoming, so no East Coast salt. Transmission is solid with no rough shifts, with a flush and new filter 6 months ago. Oil change 3 months ago. New primary and secondary fuel filters 6 months ago. Valve adjustment with new valve cover gasket 2 months ago. Lots of new hoses. Replaced fuel shutoff valve 9 months ago, so no popping the hood to shut it off. New glow plugs less than 1 year ago, after market block heater installed 1.5 years ago. Starts great even here in Wyoming's cold climate. Starts with just glow plugs to 20F and at least -10F with the block heater. Has an aftermarket high efficiency conical air filter. The original air cleaner is included. All electric windows work. Standard tan leather, some wear and tear but no gashes with aftermarket stereo. Tires have 80% tred left. I would not hesitate to drive the car cross-country. Now the detractions. The chipped windshield (glued to prevent growth and out of the drivers view). Also a spot by the rear drivers side window where a garden tool fell onto the car and made a small ding. The cruise control and tachometer are intermittent. The vacuum locks have been disconnected. I am selling because I have dogs and have switched to a mercedes diesel wagon. The car is being sold "as-is" with no warranty. $500.00 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close. As far as the stereo, the original Bosch am radio has been replaced with an am/fm/cd player. The heat and defrost work as advertised with the automatic climate control with no leaks or antifreeze smell. The AC does work and the car has a sticker stating the system has been retrofitted with FRIGC (FR-12).
