For Sale is my 1966 Chevelle Super Sport Clone. It is a 136 car as you can see by the vin.As you can see by the pics the car is in great shape for a 45 year old car. The paint is in pretty good shape probably a 7 out of 10 but does have a few places that need some attention. Right above the drivers door there is a few bubbles coming and at the lower front fenders where they meet the doors, very small, but you can see them. The front fenders, along with the hood, needs some realignment to set the gaps a little better. I bought the car with a junk small block in it but did nothing to the car as far as the body. So I don't know how much body work has been done to it but looks very solid as far as the floor pans and trunk. It started out as a chevelle and someone has added the ss emblems all the way around.Now, for the new motor which is a late 80's 454 freshly rebuilt. The motor is std bore with new hyperutectic pistons, 10mx20 rods, mellings oil pump,elgin cam with a valve lift of .527int. and .553 on the exh. cloyes double roller chain and victor gaskets. It has the Hei dist, hooker headers and a 750 edlebrock 1411 electric choke carb. The heads are off of a 68 chevelle big block and have new seats for the unleaded gas. It also has the 7qt moldon oil pan. The engine holds 40-60 lbs of oil pressure at all times and never gets above 190 on the temp gauge.The motor runs really strong and is backed by a turbo 400 , freshly rebuilt, and a posi with 336 gears. The exhuast is new front to back with flowmaster mufflers. Sounds really good.The interior in the car is in great shape and all lights work including console and dome, dash and even the clock in console. The windows are electric and go up and down like they are suppose to. I know I am leaving something out, so please email with any questions. This car is not a $25,000.00 show car but it is a really nice clone of a super sport.My reserve is going to be very low as the car just sits in my shop covered up, so maybe someone else can enjoy it. The car looks alot better in person my camera is not very good. I reserve the right to end auction at anytime as the car is for sale locally. Any shipping will be at the buyers expense.
