I have a beautiful 1979 Lincoln Contenental two door coupe for sale. This beauty is ready for summer fun and cruising. I have owned and enjoyed this car for the last 5+ year's, and it has served me very well. As they say, it rides like your floating on a cloud. After purchasing it, I stripped it to bare metal as the original enamal was faded, no other body work was required ( 0 rust ). I then applied a self etching epoxy primer, urethane sealer and finally the original two stage urethane light blue metalic finish. The trim and chrome finishes are exellent and the glass as well. Left door glass motor is new, master cylinder is new, fresh brakes in back including wheel cylinders and hardware. It has a new battery and a new vacume check valve for the headlamp doors. It has am/fm auto seek original stereo, and I also have an am/fm cb to go with.The air conditioner is original r12 but was evacuated because it had a slow leak. There is a small crack in the refector on back but was'nt an issue for me, it however can be replaced very easly. The power door lock's stopped working for some reason, I haven't looked at it, but a fuse probably. All other accesories fully operational. The 400 v8 and c6 automatic are original and untouched other than routine maitanence. The car has 85/95 percent on michaline tires. The car does not smoke, use oil, and is surprisingly not bad as one might believe on gasoline. I might mention, this car did not have a vineal top originaly. I do have copy of the build sheet and original title. I have enjoyed this car as you will to, and yes it can be driven home wherever you reside. I would'nt hesatate to go anywhere and back in it. This was the last year for the big one. I'll miss her but have other's to entertain me for now. I restored the wheel's on the front but the other two for the rear still need to be finished.
