This is an unbelievable item for the Porsche enthusiast. Just perfect for your garage or office. The clock is a masterpiece, and is extremely rare! This is one of the original clocks used at the launch of the Porsche Carrera GT supercar in Europe. You will have a very hard time finding another one of these clocks. I was lucky enough to import this clock. Please understand that I'm not a photographer, and I do not have a thousand dollar digital camera. I took these pictures with my Sony camera and tried my best to take good pictures. The pictures do not do justice to this spectacular piece of Porsche history! This awesome clock stands 8 feet in height and the flags measures 3 feet across and is solid aluminum, so even though it is a very massive clock, it still weighs in at just under 100 pounds. This Porsche Carrera clock is a double sided street clock with the solid black metal outer finish, and features the luminescent, metallic dial in Porsche Carrera silver with the actual gold plated Porsche Carrera badges on each face, and the black steel luminescent hands. The clocks top features the Porsche Carrera shields in aluminum with the black enamel background. The clock is run by dual independent made high torque precision quartz movements which keep accurate time The time is set at the exterior of the clock as well as the batteries, there for you do not need to open the clock in order to insert new batteries or set the time. The clocks dials are protected by tempered 3/16” glass, and the clock is weatherproof, and can be used indoors or outdoors. Personally I used the clock indoors only, only shown outside below to obtain better pictures of the clock. This awesome clock also features the flawless Porsche Carrera banners/flags which are also suitable for outdoor use, or indoor use. I have owned this clock for a little over a year. This was used as a display for the car shows, and can be unassembled and easily shipped anywhere in the world, as it ‘s head and base are threaded, so a few quick twists and your done.
