Vehicle Detail
Hello, This is a nice driving travelall. It has power steering and brakes, both work great. It runs smooth, and has been sitting for at least 5 months, without touching it, and it started right up, a little rich at first, but quickly smoothed out. No carb or fuel issues. It is not a rattle trap, I drove it from Seattle last year and it rides smooth. Many travelalls with the automatic are tired and weak by now, so that is not an issue with this truck, no clutch noises either. My Dad has had it for a few years and no longer needs it. It would be good for a driver, or camping/utility vehicle, it will not win any trophies. My Dad bought it from the original owner in Bellevue Wa. He had painted it in areas, and scraped the rear corner and side and did a patch up, spot paint repair, that you can see in the pictures. The passenger mirror is missing, the exhaust has a slight leak, the tires are just ok, it has slight rust in a few spots, but its not a cancer buggy, it has an oil leak at the intake manifold, that was leaking so I degreased the engine last year, and washed it off. The front seat is firm and I think all the lights, heater, wipers, radio, blinkers etc work. The headliner is still in it, the floors are vinyl, which I like better than carpet, and the rear window is a crank, not electric. It really does, drive nicely, stop nicely, and I would drive it anywhere, but the oil leak should be fixed first, as it was a bit messy, which is why i took it to the car wash and cleaned it. The travelall can stay here for a couple months if needed. I will deliver it to Oregon or Washington for a fair price as I go there often. If you buy this travelall, be ready to pay for it, now, not later, and please read the description again, and if you have any questions, please ask. I don't want any problems with the sale, the pictures and description are as accurate and forthcoming as I can be. This travelall drives as good as I have driven, its not full of tricks to use it, like many internationals. Thanks for looking, David
