This is a beautiful example of a numbers matching 1979 Trans Am with T-Tops in great condition. I am the third owner of this car and the first two owners took superb care of her. Documentation for the vehicle, including the original purchase invoice, manuals, and maintenance documents, from the original owner and previous owner are with the car. This car was originally sold in Wisconsin and spent most of its life garage kept there. It was transplanted to Michigan by me several years ago, and the car has always been garage kept. The car comes with a beautiful fitted cover. Mechanically, the car is in perfect condition. The car has always been properly stored, including thorough winterization each fall and a good cleaning every spring. The engine has been well maintained and runs very well, reasonably economical on gas considering the current gas prices. The dual exhaust sound very healthy and it’s a joy to start this car and hear it run. The transmission is in perfect condition and shifts wonderfully. Everything on the car works, including the A/C, cruise control, all lights and accessories. Steering is tight and true. This car is a joy to drive and you can head to your first cruise, or show, as soon as it arrives! The body is in great shape, with the original paint. The color is a rare color for this year, Heritage Brown. The shaker hood has been repainted in the original color; however the remainder of the car is original. There are some areas of the paint showing slight wear; however from ten feet away, this car looks absolutely fantastic. I have driven this care a fair amount and enjoyed every minute of it. The T-tops are in great shape, along with the covers for them. I have driven the car in the rain and the T-tops do not leak. I have the original wheels that accompany the car. The previous owner purchased a set of WS6 wheels and I think they are gorgeous, too. The tires are almost new, a couple of thousand miles on them, and they're in excellent shape. The car is very sharp looking and never fails to turn heads! Actual mileage may be a little more than the 73k I've listed; the car is still in winter storage. It comes home this Saturday. The engine compartment is original and has not been molested. It could use a good steam cleaning, but it is unmolested and all original. The undercarriage was hard to photograph with the car on the ground and I don't have access to a left. There is nothing other than normal surface rust, the floor pans and trunk are all original and they are very solid. Current mileage after driving her home today is 73,624. She started right up and drove home like a dream.
