ATTENTION PA PURCHASERS... THIS VEHICLE WILL NOT PASS INSPECTION. That being said let me start out with the bad. I had this inspected this week and have decided not to do the necessary repairs. It needs new leaf springs and a new leaf spring mount on the drivers side. I replaced the passenger side when I first bought the truck. Mount is $40 plus labor if you can'd do it yourself. This in itself is not why I have chosen not to fix the truck. The rear frame cross member just behind the bumper is shot where it mounts to the frame. This is no easy fix. For those of you familiar with this year of F150 frame weakness is often a problem and I have no idea where you would get one or when you do how much frame integrity you would have to mount the new piece. Unfortunately this cross member is also where the main gas tank mounts. This truck doesn't have the auxilary tank although it does have a spot for it (Wasn't there when I bought it.) It won't have a radio or speakers and the AC in the truck will not work. The motor is sound but does seem to have a vacuum leak somewhere. The rear passenger side brake cylinder is leaking and there are holes in the top of the fenders in the truck bed that will need some sheet metal put over top of them. That along with new wipers is what it would need to pass inspection. At the same time there are a lot of good in this truck. I have driven back and forth from PA to OH with no problems. Motor is in good shape and I've replaced all the gaskets for the motor and oil pan. It has a new thermostat, plugs, wires, shocks, brakes, and many new sensors. The entire steering system is under a year old. I put in a new steering pump, steering gear box (very heavy and akward to put in,) new wheel bearings, tie rods (inner and outer) and tie rod ends. The tires are also new and have less than 6000 miles on them. The truck does have a tow package on it with brake box but I have never used it so I don't know if it works. The tail gate does not like to cooperate sometimes as well. I don't believe I have forgotten anything. I don't ship. I don't sell to "overseas" or "out of the country" purchasers. I don't sell to "new bidders" with no history. I have sold on here before so please don't waste my time like so many others have. You will be responsible for a personal pick up where the truck is as I won't work with shippers. We can arrange a time after deposit is paid. Transaction wrapped up within ten business days from sale end. Deposit of 50% to be paid within 48 hours of end of auction. I will not end auction early for any reason.
