I've purchased a barn find '62 to restore so I'm selling my '67. Very good condition mechanically and cosmetically. Original color (repaint) with correct 2-tone wheels. Correct (but not original) engine. I drive it daily with confidence. Does not burn any oil and drops a drip just often enough to assure you it's a VW. New brakes, drums wheel cylinders and rubber lines. New tires, axle seals, coil, speedo cable and other misc. items. Freshly re-built correct carb. Correct distributor. Deck lids are not original (front seems to be from a '66). Pop-out windows. Uncut dash w/disconnected radio in favor of AM/FM/CD hidden in glove box. NO RUST anywhere except a small amount in spare tire well (see pic). Battery tray is solid. A very nice example of what's considered the ideal year to own (first year of 12v., last year of old style bumpers, etc.). Car is also for sale locally so I may end the auction early if it sells.
