NEVER HAULED ANYTHING HEAVY.) This ‘98 Silverado extended cab Z71 4x4 pickup is, simply, the absolute finest one available for sale…….ANYWHERE. As a hobby, I buy nice older trucks (when I can find them) and clean / detail / repair them (as necessary) and put them back up for sale. This particular truck, though, needed absolutely NOTHING, other than cleaning the dust off of it, as well as a fresh oil change, new wiper blades, front-end alignment and tire rotation, just for the sake of maintenance. It had been stored in a heated garage since new and not driven since 2007.……other than short jaunts, just to keep the fluids circulated, and only during nice weather. This truck has a brand new PA state safety and emissions inspection on it. Here’s the entire story behind this unbelievable truck and how I acquired it. The original owner purchased it at Deichman-Walker Chevrolet, in Easton, PA, in 1997. He purchased it through his company and later transferred it into his personal name (for tax and legal reasons). Although it actually IS a one-owner truck, it has been TILTLED more than once, so, if you run a CARFAX report, it will show that. As stated, it has been in his possession since new and he’d been the only driver of it until I bought it. Shortly after he bought it, he started driving company-owned vehicles, so this truck just sat. Recently, he’d decided it was too nice to just collect dust, so he put it up for sale. I fully intended to keep this one for myself, however, I just found an equally nice 2500HD series pickup that better suits me and I don‘t really need two trucks, so, I’ve decided to re-sell this one. My loss can be your gain. To see this truck in-person is to think you’ve opened up a “time capsule“. It‘s literally as nice as a 13-year-old truck could possibly be. There is one tiny scuff mark on one piece of the plastic body side molding and the tires have 25,000 miles of wear on them, but, that’s about ALL you can find that would be other than assembly-line-new. Honestly, other than spending a few hours of cleaning and detailing, what you see is how I got it. I’d be impressed beyond belief if anyone could find / show me one that’s as nice. This truck has, to the best of my knowledge, never seen snow. It is 100% original and as perfect as could be. The undercarriage, as you can see in the photos, is just as nice as the rest of the truck. I could go on and on and on………but, hey, it’s a virtually perfect 25,000 mile truck. Nothing more really needs to be said about it. Since this body style of GM truck is becoming increasingly hard to find and many people simply don’t like the newer body styles, this truly IS a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity. These trucks are either being used up or evaporating from the market. This one is destined to be a collectible classic, if it’s kept in this condition. This is THE “right one”, in every respect.
