Original motor, Interior, 97k, stated to be original miles; believable considering lack of mechanical wear. Most of the issues are rot, slight rust, etc.. not mechanically ragged out. Recently brought here from being stored in Florida. THERE ARE SOME RUST SPOTS. This paragraph is a revision. An ebayer asked me detailed qustions about the area around the sunroof. I peeled back the tape and found the worst rust on the car. I stand by the statement of slight rust for everywhere else other than around the sunroof. This restoration will probably require cutting part of the roof out of a newer foxbody with a sunroof and welding it in. I also did mor looking at the underneath and floor. This is better than I expected. There is no significant rust in the floor or underneath the car. Needs some gasket rubber, and a little trim but most of the parts come with the car, see pics. The last twenty years the car has been kept with the intention of restoration. It has been painted twice in its life. Has not been driven regularly, needs a battery and probably some carb work to stay running smooth. Dies easily right now (has ancient gas in tank), but engine sounds great. Clutch and 5 speed feel fine. ANOTHER REVISION- it has been asked if the car runs good enough to drive onto a car carrier. If the car sells for more than $2,000 I will put a battery in it and that should make it able to drive on and off a car carrier. If less than $2,000 you can add $50 to the shipping cost and I will put a battery in it to get it on a transporter and increase the chances that it will start for transport unloading. Right now it has to be jumped and won't idle long. Has a total of 9 Aluminum Rims and good tread, half of the tires don't show much rot. 4 of the rims are Ford Original, one is missing centercap. Has original pace car unique Recaros that came with the pace trim, may only need a good steaming. Rear seat in good shape. All doors, hood and hatch open and close correctly and latches work fine. No buckling at hinge points. Rear hatch needs new lift supports. Located in Woodstock, GA a suburb of Atlanta. Pick up or I will deliver, it is already on tow dolly ready for free delivery within 50 miles, or 50 cents a mile over that up to 200 miles. More than that you will need to arrange a carrier.
