Vehicle Detail

UP FOR AUCTION , WE HAVE A "BARN FRESH" VEHICLE!. this car is being relisted due to an "impulse" buyer. who thought he was buying a 10k car for the $2600 HIGH BID.so we let him out of the commitment. so.. LETS BE REALISTIC HERE. IT WAS OLD WHEN IT WAS STORED.there is no title on the car in ma. in the 70s , a title was not required for cars 10yrs old and older. it is a 1937 plymouth sedan four door with suicide doors. has been stored in a barn, on a cement floor since 1974 (37 yrs) . still wears 1974 massachusetts inspection sticker. has a flat head six cylinder, three speed manual on the floor. vehicle appears to be 100% complete right down to the air filter and hub caps. body extremely solid for the year. engine oil dipstick shows good oil at the correct level.engine moves by hand, clutch pedal feels just as it should shifter goes through the gears as it should. gas pedal carb -linkage all move freely. key is in the ignition, even choke knob works freely. nice original dash. body number is #905209156 body by briggs mfg. detroit. make no mistake here , it is a 74 year old vehicle and the car needs a complete restoration, also remember , even in 1974, when it was stored, it was a 37 year old car. it is not a rust free "virgin" but a very solid place to start.there is some rust on the floors and some trunk rust the panel below the trunk lid (see pics).this is why i wrote THE CAR NEEEDS A COMPLETE RESTORATION. has orig chrome bumpers , nice bullet headlights, all tail lites. . car is tucked tight into a corner , so hard to get pass side pics , but appears as solid or beter than drivers side.. the car has to go , so we have set a very realistic opening bid of $1500.00. we will remove car from barn for the winner of the auction. as long as the car is paid for it can stay for up to 60 days free. located 1hr west of boston .. shipping is the buyers responsibility, we can assist. . please, be serious , and before bidding, ask questions , i will get you answers. was told the car ran and moved when it was stored. and seems like it would come back to life with a tuneup battery fresh oil and gas but i cant guarantee that... WILL NEED A COUPLE TIRES spare will pump up and one is still inflated two appear to be cracked and junk. we do have the door panel for the pass inside door. also have some new brake shoes in the box. pay pal $500.00 deposit required within 48 hrs.of auctions end,.. all in all a good solid project at a low opening bid and great gangster looks. restore it rat rod it . or use it as a parts car to make a coupe all original. SO.. PLEASE .. BEFORE YOU BID . ASK QUESTIONS , BE REALISTIC!! IT IS 74 YRS OLD.YOU WONT BE DRIVING IT HOME!!
