1929 Model A Convertible Cabriolet for restoration. There can't be too many of these left, complete (mainly) and unrestored. The 29 Briggs Bodied Cabriolet's are among the hardest to find of the Model A's. They have the cowl lines of the later 30/31 but fenders, radiator etc.. of the 1929 A's. These were the top of the line in the day and cost $200 more than the Roadster which was $385. They were supposed to be weather tight and had full roll up windows. This car needs complete restoration. All original sheet metal. Fenders are all good to excellent with good beads. Very nice hood. Body has rust as shown in detail in bottom of drivers quarter panel mainly. Cowl is good. Because it needs everything I have taken detailed photos as they will better describe the condition. This cost the same to restore as a Coupe or Tudor but is worth nearly twice as much when done. A few things to note. Engine turns over, correct 29 bumpers (originals), correct 29 radiator. Doors and windows are complete as is the top assembly (may be missing one knob, though I have seen it, just not today when I took photos). Has electric wiper motor, correct two tooth Gemmer steering box, Fumaze Blow-by tube. It has 4 new tubes so it rolls and steers to help load it. I am starting at $1. Crazy $$ offers considered.
