Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a clean title 1967 Porsche 912 featuring fiberglass RS bumpers and welded SC flares. The wheels are staggered Porsche cookie cutters measuring 6.5" and 7.5" lip to lip. They are powdercoated in gloss black and wrapped in new 195/60/15's up front and 215/60/15's in the rear. The motor was pulled from a 914 and mated to a 4 speed 901 gearbox. The car was finished in it's original color (6604) Light Ivory. The floors were patched and undercoated and all of the body seals were replaced, all some time last year by the previous owner. This car features a universal wiring harness with blade type fuses. It is wired up very simply and there are only a few wires throughout the entire car, which makes diagnostics and repairs easy, even for beginners. The fuel level, engine temp, tach and speedo are working. The electric fuel pump (with kill switch), headlights, front and rear turn signals, tail lights and brake lights all work. The gearbox is the standard 4 speed with the usual minor grind from 1st to 2nd. An experienced early Porsche owner can drive it without ever having a grind. The engine fires right up, even after sitting for days and doesn't smoke, knock or ping. It consumes a minimal amount of gasoline and provides relatively excellent performance. I installed a freshly powder coated '67 rear suspension with brand new rotors, rebuilt calipers and some cadmium plated hardware. I pulled the engine while I was in there and replaced some seals, the belt, powdercoated all of the sheet metal and engine bracket, acid washed and plated much of the hardware, installed all new ignition components (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil), installed a new clutch kit (clutch, pressure plate, release bearing), and all new engine compartment sound padding. The car comes with a new battery with a 5 year warranty. The Porsche 914 engine number is W003389. The floors, roof and rear parcel shelf were all covered in sound deadener. Then the RS carpet kit was installed along with a new headliner (with foam). The chairs are original 67 chairs with 69 headrests. They are leather and in good enough condition that I did not recover them. I rechromed the recliner brackets (as I also did with the headlight rings) for a clean finish. One bracket on the drivers seat has been welded but it is set at the perfect incline. Both seatbelts and buckles are brand new. A $500 deposit is due IMMEDIATELY at auction close via PayPal, NO EXCEPTIONS. The remaining balance is to be paid within 3 days via bank to bank wire transfer or cash in person. International buyers have 7 days to complete payment. This is a final auction sale, NOT an opportunity to close in on a price and then "view" the car. Once the listing ends, the car is sold, payment is due, and no more questions will be answered.
