This is a 1962 Ford Thunderbird Roadster convertible. This is a true roadster with the correct 89 in the vin number. The car has the original grab handle on the passenger side and an original tonneau cover over the rear seats. Engine is the original 390 4v which runs great. Car is automatic,power steering, power brakes, power top, power seat on the driver side, power windows, and tilt-away steering wheel. The car is almost 100% complete except for the original wire wheels. Original air cleaner comes with car. All electrical features including the top, windows, gauges, radio, and heater are all working. One of the 1/4 glasses is off the track. The conv. top on the car is in very good condition and should not need replaced. The car does need to be restored, but will make a beautiful Roadster once finished. The car starts and runs fine and is drivable on my driveway but is not roadworthy as there is a bad brake line at the rear and only has emergency brakes. Body on the car is in good condition but has had some rust around the rear quarter panels. The floors appear to be original and in good shape. Like I say this car need restored and needs things like paint, seats recovered, weatherstripping etc. I had the T-bird on Ebay last year and sold it to a buyer from another country which never paid for the vehicle. I then decided to keep it until I finished my 63 T-bird conv. It has been a great help as a reference, but I am now finished with my car and need to sell this car. I will only sell to US buyers.
