1966 Barracuda Formula S Badgeing 273 Hi-PO Engine Solid Lifter from factory 4-Speed with console As far as I can tell, it is a numbers matching car and factory 4-speed car. The Trim tag is gone, so only the expects will be able to tell us for sure.. This is not a show car, it is very good driver quality car, will compete very well at local car shows and you won't see many like it.. Interior: Looks to be original carpet and back seat, the front buckets look like they have been covered at some point. All is very nice Driver Qualty.. The dash looks great, no cracks in the Dash Pad and all gauges look and work perfectly.. Has the 150 MPH speedometer that came with the Formula S, Also has a working performance indicator Gauge that also works, has a 8000 Tachometer on the steering column . Head Liner looks to be original, Driver Quality, no Rips.. Original Steering Wheel in excellent shape, no cracks.. Aftermarket Blapunkt Stereo and speakers, Has cassette player. The horn and turn signals are not currently working, as far as I know, everything else is working... Exterior: Good Driver Quality, has some small paint bubbles in front and back of rear wheels.. Someone took the trim off this car, we have found most everything, have the rocker trim coming, will be on car by end of auction, still need the 2 rear wheel well moldings. Car has old school Cragars, driver Quality, couple have pitted.. All Glass is good, windows go up & down as they should. Bumpers are excellent, look to have been replaced at some point. Car has a RARE half Vynal Top, looks to be new. DriveTrain: 273 Hi Po with factory 4-speed...235Housepower...Solid lifters.... Looks like the motor has been out and rebuilt at some point, paint is still nice on engine, and engine bay is very clean, factory valve covers and Air Cleaner The four speed has a real stiff clutch in it, when I shift to 2nd fast, it grinds a little, if I go slow, it shifts fine, I don't know if I don't get the clutch in all the way when I shift fast if it has a bad sinkro.... The third member looks to be original Posi..Don't know the gear ratio... Trunk: Very Solid, no rust, has all the factory equipment, jack, wrench, spare, even the trunk prop.... Underside: Under side of car is very solid, the pans look great...See Pics... This is a very nice early Muscle car..
