1966 Mustang “GT” Convertible Excellent Condition For Sale Fully restored “frame off” 66 Mustang convertible with a brand NEW V8 289 engine with a 3 automatic speed rear end that matches up for a comfortable ride. The car has 85,200 miles on the body, but the engine has LESS then 100 miles on it. This car is in show condition and beautifully “ground up "restored 289 Mustang with the OEM GT options added. Every aspect of the car is better then new. All lines have been upgraded to stainless steel, a power rack and pinion steering unit (by Total Control), power disc brakes (by Stainless Steel) makes this a dream to drive. The two tone pony interior is flawless and the restoration project lined up the panels better then when it came off the factory floor. The seatbelts were rebuilt and chromed by Snake Oyl Products in Texas for a price of $650. This is really just a beauty to cruise around in and is a real “head turner”. I hate to sell, but 3rd child makes keeping this car impractical. Was professional appraised for $44,000 and NADA has between $40,625 - $47,250. Previous owner had invested over $70,000 in the restoration, but I’m realistic on the selling price. Nothing for you fix…. just drive and enjoy cruising with the top down. Car is being sold locally, so I resever the rigtht to cancel at any time. No "tire kickers".
