1972 MG GHN5UC289316 G Tourer. Under slow restoration since purchase in 1998. Wire wheels, luggage rack, and operating overdrive distinguish this car from most other 1972 MGBs. 78,380 miles. Kept in garage (smoke-free) since 1998, only driven 1-2x per year to change the oil (no salt damage). Since that time, completely new exterior paint job with original color, body panel work to remove all blemishes; all new parts include: convertible top, windshield, leaf springs, muffler and exhaust pipe, choke/throttle cable, front chrome bumper, radio and speakers (unattached). Includes a top frame cover and a tonneau cover with headrest pockets. Engine work included valve job so compression is good. One battery only, behind right seat. Starts and runs just fine, the brakes work. No major problems. Minor work can be done for full restoration: one rear light inoperative, both headlights stopped working in 2010 (suspect wiring problem), exterior door handle push knob is missing on driver’s side, one tiny rust hole (1/8”) in right floor panel, and horn is intermittent (loose wires). Included are hydraulic jack, spare wire wheel tire, and 2 jack stands. I've been away for eBay for several years and had to start a new account; prior to current account I had about a dozen transactions (mostly camera equipment) with a perfect record and no negative feedback.
