HURST competition/plus shifter dual exhaust (no converters) I am the original owner, I ordered this car new from the factory in November 1975, and took delivery around New Years 1976 from Crow Motor Sales in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Drove this car daily until 1990, car has been in storage ever since. I start and take this car for short drives,(about 10 miles), several times a month weather permitting, car has not seen rain or snow since 1990. Only water on the car comes from dust rinseoffs several times a year. When stored, it is up on jackstands on frame allowing suspension to relax. All fluids have been changed on or before needed times. Everything on the car works! Only thing not working is the clock, stopped working about 1987. Except for the modifications, all of the engine parts are original. . I have the original window sticker and build sheet. Car was repainted in 1986, factory paint did not hold up well, too much sun and bird droppings. All sheetmetal is original. I kept all of the original parts also, (intake manifold, shifter, exhaust manifolds, aircleaner assembly, valve covers), just in case someone wants to restore car its original state, plus I have some extra other odds and ends. All the basics are new also, (battery, filters, wiper blades, cap, rotor, spark plugs). Intake manifold, headers, and transmission are bolted in with stainless steel bolts. Wheels are RARE factory originals w/matching full size spare and original trunk mounting pieces and jack. Only problems with the car. Brake light is on, I believe master cylinder has an internal leak or malfunctioning brake distribution valve. Otherwise brakes work just fine. (no visable leaks) 3rd 4th gear sycronizer grinds slightly if forced too quickly, (getting worn). Dashpanel top edge has slight curl. Car does have some rust, nothing major, they are listed below. both front fenders, lower panel (down by rocker panel) driver's door bottom corner both lower front quarter panels (also down by rocker panel) trunk panels behind wheel wells (inside trunk) plus assorted paint chips and minor scratches The rest of the car is solid and rust free. Runs and drives well. Circumstances force me to sell car, this is a great car for any restorer or Chevy addict, I believe I have put a good price on it, but I will not give it away either, I didn't keep it and baby it for 35 years just to dump it. Pictures show a wood grain dash, Original was a white one which was put back in, I sold the wood one. Indoor car cover included. Ignor the license plates, just dreaming. If you need additional pictures, give me an email address and I will try to accomodate. I will hide nothing. I cannot deliver vehicle, buyer must pick up, (recommend trailer or car hauler). Unless, buyer insists on delivery, payment must be made in advance for vehicle, also a delivery fee will have to be added. I would have to make arrangements for transport. Fee amount depends on time and distance. I will work with buyer on this. (no ripoffs) I will only charge what it costs me. Auto delivery companies can be expensive, $500+. I recommend buyer pick up.On Mar-28-11 at 17:07:59 PDT, seller added the following information: IF YOU WANT ADDITIONAL PICTURES OF SPECIFIC AREAS MAKE YOUR REQUESTS AT LEAST 24 HRS. BEFORE AUCTION IS OVER SO I CAN GET THEM TAKEN AND DOWNLOADED AND EMAILED TO YOU, MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE AN EMAIL ADDRESS, I WILL TRY TO ACCOMODATE. PLEASE DON'T ASK FOR A BOAT LOAD, JUST WHAT YOU NEED, THANK YOU.
