1971 Buick LeSabre convertible, 75,902 miles, 350 4bbl engine, a very solid Florida car with factory air conditioning. I started this project looking for a good running, solid car to slightly modify for a weekend cruiser. My intent was to smooth the body, getting rid of emblems, door handles, lock cylinders, hood/trunk louvers and mirrors, then drop it several inches and put 20” custom wheels on it. Finishing it off with an eye popping paint job. To date, all the body work has been done. The doors, fenders and hood are ready for paint. The quarters and trunk are in spray fill and need one more good blocking before priming. Looking at the pictures you’ll note that all the common rust areas (bottom edges of the doors, trunk lip, lower fenders/quarters, etc) are solid. The trunk had surface rust. I wire wheeled it down and POR 15 it. Only a quarter size hole exists (see pic). There is a new top and well in boxes (see pics). The top does go up and down but the framing needs a little work (tends to bind up some). The interior is all there for you to do with what you want. There is new carpet in the box (see pic). The dash is perfect with no cracks. The bumpers have been rechromed and ready to bolt on. All the correct parts are there to reassemble what I’ve taken off. The car does run and move under its own power. I also have $600 worth of custom mixed paint. It is a very deep violet that is heavily metalliced. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance, via a wire transfer or cash, due within 10 business days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before removal of the vehicle. Vehicle must be picked up no later than 30 days following end of auction (above payment terms must be met). Buyer is responsible for all delivery costs that may apply.
