Up for auction a 2000 XK8 convertible. This is my project car which I bought a few years ago. At the time the car was in poor shape with some damage to the front. The engine had two valve seats dropped and would not start. Both cylinder heads had been professionally redone. Runs great. The body has been fixed and repainted. The J-gate needs work or replacement, the transmission shifts up to 4th gear and goes into the limp mode. The convertible top does not operate as it has developed a leak around the latch. There is a repair kit available at Jag dealers for some $100 plus. The top itself has patches and stains but I have a brand new one still in the box and its included with the car. The rims are 18s off a 2002 XJR. This car runs and drives but still needs work to be roadworthy. With little effort it will make a beautiful summer ride. Note: The odometer is in miles (58225). The title reads 'clear with salvage history' but I'm listing it as salvage to be in accordance with eBay policy.
