This is a 2001 Chevy Astro Van.. I bought this new and our family has put 128,000 Miles on it. This has been a great family vehicle. This is not a cream puff, it has been driven. It's taken kids to softball, football, kickball, Scouts, volleyball, family vacations to florida, michigan, etc. Mechinical issues: Like a lot of Astros and s10's the antilock break computer died about 60,000 miles ago. Wasn't worth fixing then and certainly isn't worth fixing now. I've driven this van without the antilock break computer working for several years. It hasn't casued any issues other than the light coming on. The drivers seat arm rest needs fixed/replaced. The back door widow is picky on how you hit the button. There is a part of the plastic molding missing by the back door (Tried to get a photo of it, but if you're not looking for it you will miss it. The front end is loose, I had the tie rods replaced last year, but it still a little loose. It's not scary, but it's not a brand new van. Missing the volume knob on the stereo.. There are some stains on the carpet. Again it's hauled kids for it's entire life. The goods, This is the LT model, with the premium sound system. leather wrapped steering wheel, rear A/C/ Heat. Rear Dutch Doors. Seats 8 people. We took eight people and backpacks to the smokies last summer for a weekend backpack trip. I just bought a traverse to replace this van, I can't do that with the traverse. Runs great, starts every time. Heating and AC work great. Tires have a lot of life left on them, and it has a brand new battery.
