This car has not been registered for many yrs. It is recently out of storage and ready for a new owner to restore. Car is equipped with power everything along with air conditioning. I am not an expert by any means but will do my best to describe this car and I will be happy to answer any questions. Just email them. I also encourage the prospective buyers to view the car first if possible? Or have someone look at it for you. This car within the last 2 years has undergone some mechanical upgrades and restoration but is still considered a restoration project car in my opinion. The interior seats will need to be recovered. Dashboard is in very good condition. Door panels are very nice but some minor trim pieces are missing (chrome around window switches) and one arm rest support needs replaced. All wood trim door inserts are very nice condition. As you can see from the photos, the car was recently painted and then never finished. This car has No Rust what so ever on it. It is a very solid California Car with no body work needed at all! The paint however was very poorly prepped and completed and has blemishes throughout. (tiny dots and bubbles) No Rust at All but the paint is driver quality at best and would more than likely need to be sanded and re-sprayed. It falls in the 20 footer catagory but does have a nice shine. I believe the car has original California smog equipment still in place as someone has told me that is what all the extra hoses are around the engine. (see photo) Current upgrades/replaced parts within the last 2 years: -Exhaust/ muffers replaced last year -New shocks All four -New Tires 2 years ago with no miles on them -Brake lines replaced last year -Gas tank cleaned -Oil change last week -Car starts right up brakes work transmission shifts as it should -Car will need gone thru (tuned up) as it has not been driven for a long time so someone who knows cars will need to check everything to be safe but it can be easily started and driven onto a hauler today. Currently there is no material convertible top on the car(see photo). ALL Top HYDRAULICS AND DECK LID WORK PERFECTLY. The top is all there and works. I am INCLUDING with this auction a BRAND NEW in the BOX black top for the car. (see photo) What car needs in my Opinion? -Top canvas needs installed. All hardware is complete and in place, new top comes with car including the pads -Back windows need knife switches installed (included). -Car is missing a few misc. minor trim pieces. Nothing major. Just one door trim, one wheel well and rocker trim, and hood ornament. -As you can see from the photos, the car is rust free on top and bottom so only a repaint to fix the paint blemishes is needed. -Interior seat covers Car is 100% Complete and All minor parts not on the car currently (like exterior trim) in included with sale and clearly labeled.
