1949 Mercury VIN#9CM282409 · Original Flathead 8 cylinder w/3-speed manual transmission w/overdrive · All original body and parts · 4 door sedan w/rear suicide doors · Completely restored w/hand rubbed gloss black paint in and out. All new glass throughout, new upholstery (including trunk) motor painted Ford green w/black accents. Original radio, locks and interior lights all work. · Stainless steel trim including grill are all hand rubbed and polished to new condition. Bumpers, door handles and decorative trim are all re-chromed. Original hub caps w/beauty rings newly chromed and polished. Includes custom factory fender skirts. · This car has been in indoor storage for over 27 years since I owned it. It is in show room condition and runs great. · Odometer reads 85,776 miles · This car was a labor of love for me as I have always dreamed of owning a 49 Merc. I have spent over $30,000.00 in restoration from the ground up and have created a car that looks like it was driven off the show room floor.
