NOTE: Reserve Lowered ! Up for your consideration is a rare 1965 Mercury Monterey Breezeway 4-Door Sedan with a Power Rear Window that works ! This car is all ORIGINAL. It has a 390 2-Barrel Stick-on- the- Column with Overdrive. Mileage is 126,000. It has an "add-on" under-dash Air Conditioner; is just missing the belt. The Door Data Plate reads as follows: BODY 50A; COLOR 5M; TRIM 17; DSO 02F51; AXEL 4; TRANSMISSION 2. The Carburator was rebuilt in July of 2010. It has New Front Tires and Fair Back Tires. It has new Spark Plugs, Points, Condenser and Rotor. The Motor runs quiet with no rattles. This is a Colorado car WITH TITLE; there is a Colorado Collector License Plate on the rear. I purchased it from a friend this last summer. The brakes should be checked and the motor probably needs new valve umbrellas. Otherwise, it runs good and the exhaust is quiet. The running gear is real good. It is an unusual vehicle and would be fun to fix up. It needs a coat of paint, minor rust repair and some interior work(the front seat needs to be reupholstered and the sun visors need to be restitched). Otherwise, after checking the brakes, it would ready to drive or restore. The floors, trunk and frame appear to be real solid, as are most Colorado cars ! Again, this is not a 410 motor; it is a 390 2-Barrel; this is the ORIGINAL motor. Note: Several pictures show missing turn signal lenses. New ones have been installed. The car is yard-driveable, but it is 46 years old and it should be trailered until it is checked over. This is an unusual, rare vehicle, but I have placed a low reserve on it. Actually, the motor, transmission and rear end are worth the reserve price (if you had thought of using those components in another car). This car was driven to cruise-nights last summer, but because the brakes need to be checked out, again, the car needs to be trailered. It is located in Zip Code 55744. Pick-up/Shipping is the reponsibility of the Buyer. Due to the spring weather oddities, the Breezeway can "live" here on our property until it is convenient for you to pick it up. A Downpayment of $500 is due via Paypal with 24 hours of the close of the auction. The remainder of the purchase price will be due within 5 days of the close of the auction.
