Vehicle Detail

1982 PORSCHE 928. 4.5l v8 with automatic transmission. 75k actual miles. Red with black leather interior. Solid, rust free. All original. Looks, Runs, and Drives Great. Motor purrs, transmission shifts great. Great sounding v8. Some signs of wear and tear on the interior and exterior. The sunroof does not open, I haven't diagnosed the problem. Has A/C, but does not blow cold. Wheels have some clear coat fading, but solid with good tires. Get in and drive condition. Nothing for the age of this car. Awesome find, NO RESERVE auction. As with any used car, there may be some details and information that I may have overlooked. Please keep this in mind as I try to be as accurate as possible with all of my listings. There is a $199.00 admin/doc fee added to all auctions, so please bid accordingly. $500 non-refundanble deposit is due within 24 hours and full amount is due within 3 days. All bidders are encouraged to inspect all vehicles before bidding. All cars are sold as is, where is, with no warranty. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. On Mar-10-11 at 15:46:28 PST, seller added the following information: If you ever wonder what type of questions I get or why I run my auctions the way I do, ebay member md20201961 epitomizes the very bidder that ruins ebay. Stuff like this drives me crazy, even my wife knows if you have a concern about an auction or you don't feel comfortable about what you're bidding on, then don't bid. It saves both the buyer and seller a headache. I value all of my ebay bidders, but some things are uncalled for. Like our mother taught us, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I notice that you want full payment in 3 days. This is fairly unusual and difficult, particularly for the sale of an automobile. The only other person I have seen make that stipulation was a dealer who had negative feedback that his cars were not always in the same condition as promised. I want to see the car and know it is in the condition you say it is in before I give you the full payment. You may be honest, but I have no guarantee, just like you have no guarantee that I am honest. If I pay first, it will be extremely difficult to get my money back if it is not in the advertised condition. Since I work Mon thru Fri (like most people) and you expect full payment within 3 days (by Wed), I assume you are available 24 hours a day to deliver the vehicle as soon as the auction ends. Is this correct? Will you deliver it to me at 1 or 2 am on Mon morning so I can get back to work? Or will you allow me to make a $500 deposit & pay the rest at delivery the following week? Thanks. Chris Thank You for the wonderful essay you wrote me today on ebay. I will try my absolute best to answer your questions honestly and accurately. Yes, you are correct, I require a paypal deposit due within 24 hours using paypal and I require the full amount due within 3 days. I use this method because it really weeds out those who accidentally bid on my vehicles, or allow their 10 year old to bid, or just bid and never pay. I am in no relation to the last person that also had this amazing ingenius idea. I assume he was also tired of dead beats costing hundreds if not thousands of dollars a year in ebay fees. I have a pretty open schedule and can accomadate most requests to see the car. I also work a full time job, like most people, and consider my car business a hobby. I enjoy finding and selling cars that people can afford. The car is available for viewing 24 hours a day. If you call me in the middle of the night, you are not going to like the response you get. I tend speak in a loud volume and have middle of the night rants. I do not deliver cars and never stated that I deliver vehicles at all. That is up to the buyer to set up pick up or delivery. If the car is paid for in full, you can pick the car up anytime you want to. I have over 500 feedback and I do get negative feedback from time to time. I try my best to describe the car the best I can. I never lie or try to screw someone over. Sometimes things just happen which is out of my control. I try to work with any buyer, but there is no hope for some idiots. The easiest remedy to this problem is, IF YOU CANNOT TEND TO THE AUCTION REQUIREMENTS, THEN DON'T BID. There are plenty of other ebay buyers that don't have a problem following my rules. I am also open to working with anyone on payment and pick up. I realize things happen and I don't mind working with someone, but communication is key. I sold 5 cars last week, 4 of which paid on time. Thanks for the laughs, I needed it. On Mar-13-11 at 05:11:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Under normal daily condition and normal washing, the sunroof will leak a little. It is stuck in the position you see it. Under monsoon like conditions like we've had lately, the seat will get wet. Didn't realize until it rained for two straight days. Thanks. On Mar-16-11 at 05:10:32 PDT, seller added the following information:Please do not bid on the car if you do not have the funds on hand to pay for the car. I realize that the economy is tough and bank's don't loan money like they use to, but it costs me a lot of money to keep running ebay ads. That's all I ask, please have the funds ready to pay.
