1969 AMC AMX. a muscle car to be reckoned with. light and powerful, this car gave the ford, mopar and bowtie boys fits. hard to find with the 390 & air conditioning combination. this car has lots of options. auto, power steering, power front disc brakes, remove side view mirror, weather-eye a/c, go-pack posi, tachometer and more. it wears period bbs style wire mesh aluminum wheels and raised white letter tires. this car has very low miles, 52k......it had been in storage for 24 years before i obtained the car. new chester & harod carpet kit, new headliner, roof rail weatherstrips, master brake cylinder, tune up etc. the engine sounds and runs strong with headers, flow thru mufflers, and an engine dress up kit. no rust extremely solid car, no replaced floor panels. super straight body and very nice, andd ready for any show and shine, but not concours quality paint. go-pak, posi and tachometer package. nice interior, again, good enough for any show and shine, but not concours. the car is turn key and a blast to drive, but it does have some very minor needs. enjoy just as it is but if you want to take the car to the next level. needs right quarter glass vertical moulding, gas tank sender, better foam for the seats, adjust the seat recline mechanisms, better stereo speakers and quarter interior trim panels. the console would look nicer if the wood and clear gear selector were replaced (readily available). the car comes with a period state of the art blaupunkt stereo system with amp. i'm forced to part with much of my car collection, so i also have available a maserati ghibli, 71 classic turbo mini-cooper, 67 pontiac air-bagged bonneville coupe on 20" wirespokes, 93 mazda rx-7 turbo, meyers manx dune buggy, vw vandetta, 91 mr2 turbo, yamaha tt 350 and more. this is a very nice car, but. the car is not perfect like a fine rolex.......it was a muscle car, production built to standards of another time and built tough for specific purposes .,,,,,,............so please don't expect other than that. keep in mind.............it's 42 years old for heaven's sake. this car is far from perfect, and is a used car.....but what a fabulous [piece. no reserve, and for sale locally, so bid now so i don't sell it to someone else. i retain the option to end the auction early. you must contact me prior to bidding if you have less than 10 feedback. if not, your bid may be removed without warning and you will be permanently banned from participating in any of my auctions. no scams please......waste your time elsewhere. non-paying bidders will be held accountable by slow execution from being suspended from the rafters in the white house attic, dangled helplessly over a bubbling vat of creamed corn and ox eyeballs until they yell "mario lanza.......where art thou".... and then the "danger butter process" will begin. transportation is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. clear california is in process, and will be provided to the new owner when it arrives from the dmv. available for worldwide export. i refuse to deal with das as a shipper. you may wish to check out uship.com for alternate and better priced transportiation services. for shipping quotes you may use my zip code of 90712. $500 deposit must be recieved within 24 hours of auction close. full payment due within 7 days whether or not you pick up the car by then. i can hold the car for a couple of weeks after the auction at no charge if full payment is recieved. i can also store the vehicle for an extended period of time for a fee. all payments must fully, completely, and totally clear all banks before the vehicle will be released. deposit is non-refundable. if these terms are unacceptable, please don't bid. please see my feedback.....bid with confidence. if the entire auction amount is paid via paypal, the winning bidder will be responsible for paypal charges for the amount over the deposit.
