This 97 Ford Mustang is in good overall original condition, it needs a freeze plug in the back of a cylinder head, the car runs great, everything works, and, passed smog a few months ago. The car now is at the mechanics shop, even though just one freeze plug is leaking, I am suspect the rest are a short order from going south also. Fixing one or all will be your decision. I purchased the car to help someone out, now is your chance to have a nice inexpensive convertable for summer, for a reasonable price. A little elbow grease will deliver you a car with plenty more miles to come in its life.... The convertable top has some wear spots and minor rips, it will need tires, and, some detailing, but, overall is not a piece of junk. There are a few minor dings though out the car, the paint shines nice, and, is not peeling or cracking. The car has 4 wheel disc brakes, polished 16" wheels, and, is complete and all stock. As I said earlier, the car runs smooth, but, the coolant running out of the back of the head will keep this car from being driven any farther than a trailer..Mechanic says, head or heads should come off, and, freeze plugs replaced at minimum, I would personally pull the engine and do all the freeze plugs. We have a clean Georgia title in hand, the transfer process was started for in California, fees were paid, smog passed, but, the freeze plug let loose before process was finished. The title is signed and we have a power of attorney from the seller, along with a signed Georgia title. Good luck...
