This low mileage, one-owner truck was purchased new by a professional couple to serve as a spare vehicle. It has been garage kept, well maintained and gently treated its whole life. It has literally only been used for weekend trips to Lowes and the landscape store, or big box errands, but never off-roaded, over loaded or abused. We are finally treating ourselves to a new truck and offering this one for sale, so there is no reserve. Overall, the truck is in excellent condition and equally capable of hauling/towing a ton or just looking good enough to take on a date. The truck is a Chevy K1500 4X4 with the 5.7 liter fuel injected engine, the 700R4 overdrive transmission and 3.42 rear end. It has the Silverado trim package, with higher grade carpet and seat, power windows, and locks, tilt and cruise control, guage package, deluxe tutone paint and alloy wheels. It also has the trailer tow package, skid plates and a drop in bedliner that was installed when the truck was new. The factory casette player radio was replaced with an Alpine CD stereo with MP3 jack. It is not your average 20 year old truck. The engine starts easy, idles smooth and runs strong. The transmission does not slip, and holds overdrive and lock-up clutch perfectly. The shift on the fly 4X4 works exactly as it should, as does the limited slip differential. All the lights, switches and electrical accessories work like new including all guages, wipers, heater and air conditioning. The interior is very clean and nearly flawless. There are no stains, rips or damage to the seats, carpet or trim. Little details like tight fitting weather stripping and door/tailgate latches properly alighning are not an issue. There is no exterior body damage save for a very small ding on the fender. There are just a few blisters in the paint about the size of a quarter, but nothing obvious and no rust through or perferation anywhere on the body. The engine/exhaust run quiet, the suspension doesn't squeak and it still drives and handles like it did when new. Besides normal oil and filter changes, the truck has received a new exhaust pipe, new brake lines in the rear and a thermostat, but otherwise has required no major servicing. It has 4 Cooper all terrain tires LT265/75R16 M+S with less than 5K miles on them. E-Mail if you would like pictures of something not already shown.
