1965 Cadillac Coupe de Ville Convertible for sale. This car is 100% complete down to every nut, bolt, screw, and old piece of weatherstripping. It was meticulously taken apart and preserved. The body was taken down to bare metal and then epoxy primered. There was almost no rust. About 90% of the body work was done, and it’s just about ready for the final blocking and then the paint. There is one little spot of rust in the little trough area ahead of the trunk where the convertible top sets down in, you can see it in the picture. The car originally had 97k miles. The front frame rails were completely cleaned, stripped, and painted, along with the suspension. New control arm bushings were installed, the brakes were re-done before the car was taken off the road and are in excellent condition. The fire wall was completely stripped, cleaned, and painted satin black. Bumpers and grill, and all brightwork are in excellent condition. The engine is 429 and the car was running fine when the restoration was begun. Someone is getting a great car to build and have fun with.
