Vehicle Detail

If you have been looking for a really unique and rare convertible, look no further. This was a one owner car until we bought it. It was purchased new in 1969 by the previous owner who has since passed away. We have all of the original documentation, including the original bill of sale and all of the maintenance docs. The miles are a low, and actual 142,830 at the time of listing. It was special-ordered with a Rocket 455 cubic-inch V8 engine and power front bench seat. This car was stored in a building for many years and pretty well preserved overall. It was given a fresh tune-up and all of the fluids were changed recently. The car was repainted once, in its original Glacier White color, many years ago but it still looks serviceable. There is some minor rust starting along the edges of the hood and along the bottoms of the fenders and quarter panels, but it is not very noticeable. The frame and underside of the car look great, and the trunk is totally rust-free. The frame rails look excellent. The interior is all black and all original. The front seat has some separations in the upholstery, but all in all looks great. The door panels, dash, rear seat and rear seats are near mint. There are no cracks in the dash; it is beautiful, as is the steering wheel. The tires are Fire hawk SS Radials and they are in good condition with some dry cracks. The convertible top is beautiful and looks like new, the original boot is still in place and I have a new replacement in the box. The power top mechanism works and goes down perfectly, but needs help going up. It is spotlessly clean under the hood with absolutely no rust or rot on the firewall or wheel wells, looks great and runs excellent. This isn't a perfect show car, but it is a nice driver and could be detailed and made perfect with very 1ittle work. It runs and drives absolutely wonderfully and we have put several hundred "Indian summer" miles on it this fall. This is a head turner, if you don't like attention then it probably is not the car for you. Everyone who sees this car loves it, and everyone will want to go for a ride with the top down. What we have done for it. Trans service including a mild shift kit. Purchased a new convertible boot, still in box New convertible seals still in box Replacement RT front Fender (not installed) Replacement Hood (Not Installed) New quarter window seals installed Rebuilt carburetor If you have been looking for a Cutlass, 442, Jet fire, Starfire or Ninety Eight, and you love Oldsmobile's as much as we do this car deserves a second look.
