I bought this cruiser from the son of the original owner. His father died and the cruiser sat in the garage for yrs, only 130k when I bought it. I've driven it for four yrs, 160k. 3 yrs ago I put a Downey 6-1 header on it. Partially de-smoged. I get the inspection done in the country, but in another year it will be exempt (25yrs old). Runs very good, header gives it a little more power. Ive replaced Radiator, starter, water pump, fuel pump, brakes, Rotor, rotor cap, spark plug wires. I've done all maintenance regularly, I like this rig. Its the first FJ60 I owned, and its the stoutest rig Ive ever had. It has a little rust starting in rear wheel wells. It needs paint. was repainted with factory color, but a lousey job. Rear bench seat has a tear, front seats have leather covers. The interior is very straight. Rock hit the windshield and cracked it, might have that fixed before sale. Have made a few trips camping in NM. 4wd works good. This one needs to be restored completely! The next thing It needs is carb, or a good tweekin by a cruiserhead guru. I know one in ft worth, if bought locally. idles ok now. one speaker cover is missing. key mechinism for rear hatch is froze, 50.00. any more questions please ask. thks
