Up for your bidding pleasure is my latest project. I've been fixing up jeeps for well over 4 decades, (an addiction for me), so it was done right. The frame is orginal, clean, no rust or weak spots OEM Power steering, all new tie rod ends and drag link Dana 30 front axle Dana 44 rear All the "U" joints were replaced, front axle "U" joints, both drive shaft joints T-14 3 speed trans T-20 tranfer case All fluid replaced, bearing repacked new fuel tank, lines, pump All the brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake lines were replaced last spring There is a set of 2" lift "Soft Ride" springs installed, (Dec. 2010) New 31" tires, (less than 1000 miles on them, maybe 3 weeks old?) New rear axle outer axle bearings, (the dual seal greased type) Fiber glass tub After market windshield frame Orginal hood and front fenders, (no body filler, there was a small hole on the inner fender below battery, looks like it was caused by battery acid drip) Meyers Hard top that is in excellent condition, (no rust at all on the doors or rear hatch, was a bit on the back rain gutter when I got it, but fixed it) It was in a guys cellar for well over 25 years before I purchased it! New heater core, the heat is Ok, you won't freeze, typical for stock jeep heaters 232 inline 6 cyl that runs great, doesn't smoke, use oil, (a very slight front seal oil leak, I'd figure the seal has to be hard from age). Good oil PSI. It does have a soft lifter that will rattle at times when the motor has been run a long time and idling. As soon as you rev it up and the oil PSI comes up, it goes away. The jeep is currently inspected in Pa. til 7-11 and is driven every day. Everything works as it should, very reliable machine, great in the snow!
