66 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE 289V-8 This was my grandfather's Mustang that he restored in 1998-1999. It was passed down to me in 2005 and has been a great car for cruising. In South Beach, this car gets more looks than the Ferrari's and Lamborghini's. Unfortunately for me, I don't have the time to use the car that often. Since the engine was completely rebuilt in 1999, it has only 5,000 miles on it. Grandfather put in about $28,000 into the restoration. This Mustang is a nice daily driver. The engine runs great. It needs some body work as it is starting to rust a little bit around both rear fenders and on the bottom of the passenger door. Other than that, everything else seems to be solid. The interior is in real good shape. Black on Black. The top was replaced during the restore and works great. Improvements on the Mustang include air conditioning, new top, rebuilt engine & transmission, and much more. I have the car for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
