Ok here's the story on the bird. I have watched this vehicle for years just sitting, it finally came up for sale & I just had to have it. I really don't have the time to restore it right now, but hated to see it sit & go to waste. Here's what the previous owner told me: He drove it until it was time for him to go to college & then the car just sat. Now he's out of college & he didn't know when he'll get back to restoring the vehicle. From my once over, the car isn't missing any parts; interiors in good shape, just dirty; has the optional rear fold-down seat, and the floor seems solid as well. The gentleman told me the engine was re-built before he went off to college. I got it started and it runs well, i have moved the car around in the yard but thats it (the brakes are out). I'd hate to see it sit around for a few more years before I get back to trying to restore it. I will consider trading for '55-'72 Chevy short-bed pickups.
