This is an awesome bike with a lot of life left. Everyone notices it. Since November, it's sat in a parking garage for all but a few days. Although it doesn't quite match the newest GS models performance-wise, you still get a world beater with 80hp for probably several thousand less than an early 2000s model will run you. Michigan title--unfortunately I can't be of any assistance in terms of inspection etc. Located on the upper west side of New York City. Trades would be partial and limited to maybe an old 1960s CA Honda, or maybe a early 70s Honda CT. The previous owner knew his stuff, serviced it regularly, customized a number of things. There is a ton of paperwork from his replacements and upgrades, along with service manuals and how-to DVDs. Service records as well. I don't have it all in front of me, but among the things replaced were the water pump (pre-emptively, never a problem) and a modification to address the surge issue that was common with these bikes. Lots of farklings and new stuff: -Aftermarket seat (still have the original) -Hella lamps and fog lights attached to custom plating. Combined with the headlight, you've got five lights. Custom wiring gives you two switches near the clutch, one for the Hellas and one for the fogs. -Two BMW side cases that lock with the ignition key; top case attaches to a custom back plate (separate key) -Heated grips -Non ABS -Aftermarket footpegs -Tank was repainted, so the black is nearly flawless despite the age of the bike. I believe the GS decals (put on after the paint job) are proper for a GSA model--but this is not a GSA.
