For sale: Restored 1974 BMW 2002 tii, Malaga red with tan interior This car was stripped to the bare metal with an already straight body, reshot in original Malaga red, and had every piece of trim, rubber, glass, and moulding replaced with OE new. The entire interior was refinished with leather seating front and rear, new door panels, german carpet, and a new headliner. Significant recent mechanical work has gotten it into perfect running order. Not much would be required to make this a concourse car. Cosmetic: - New complete paint (down to bare metal) original Malaga - New trim all around - New glass - New rubber - New carpet - Seats recovered in new tan leather (yes, leather) - New door panels and trim - New headliner - Read deck covered in leather - New bumpers and rubber - New tires - New interior and exterior mirrors - New signals, lights, and housings - New antenna - Tons of other stuff I'm forgetting Mechanical: - recent crated motor (approx 3k miles) - 15" perf wheels (have stock) - lowered springs (have stock) - 5-sp E20 conversion - new shifter blocks (uninstalled) - new air intake / filter - battery relocated to trunk w/cross-brace - new steering box - new tie rods / bushings - rebuilt FI - new radiator - new alternator - new battery - new starter Note: exact mileage is different than indicated, as the odometer has recently stopped functioning. I assume the vehicle itself (original chassis) has 136,000+ miles on it, although the odo reads approx 36k.
