I have for sale a rare 1987 190DT Turbo Diesel baby benz. I am the second owner of this vehicle. It has 170000 miles and is in very good condition for its age. The diesel starts quickly and has never needed plugged in for winter starting. I do however use the plug on cold nights for quick heat. Tires are in excellent shape. Good for at least another 25000 miles. I did just install a new battery. The car drives straight and solid. Sunroof and power windows all work well. A/C blew cold last summer with no issues. Body is in decent condition. There are a few small rust areas around the fenders, but nothing out of the ordinary. This car is an excellent commuter car or will someday be a great collector car as the turbo diesel was only made for one year. The power door locks do not work as there is apparently a vacuum leak. The motor runs but the doors will not lock. The cruise control has a mind of its own. Sometimes it works flawlessly. Sometimes it does not work at all. I have changed all parts but the actual switch. The climate control system does not work as planned, but there is plenty of heat in the winter and plenty of cool in the summer. It just isn't like the benz engineers designed it. I purchased the car from a benz dealer after it was traded by the original owner for a new model. One owner for 20 plus years. I am selling as I am switching to a 740I BMW. This is a nice little car.
