1987 JEEP WRANGLER YJ V8 FORD MOTOR W/ 85K MILES 5.0L ELdeRbrock intake HAS A HOLLEY CARB , HEADERSS ON BOTH SIDES TO A Y PIPE F250 4-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITH TRANSFER CASE FORD 8.8 REAR DIFFERENTIAL HARD TOP FULL STEEL DOORS NO ROT OR CHUNKS MISSING OFF THE CHASIS (JEEP NEEDS NEW MOTOR MOUNTS AND TRANSMISSION CROSS MEMBER , AND A GAS TANK , I HAVE IT AT THE SHOP NOW GETTING THAT FIXED) 12LB FLYWHEEL BRAND NEW CLUTCH KIT WITH LESS THAN 1000 MILES CUSTOM REAR BUILT REAR DRIVE SHAFT WINDSHIELD HAS A CRACK WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED & TITLE STEERING HAS TO BE ADUSTED I DIDNT INSTALL THE GT STEERING WHEEL CORRECTLY STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE LINES 2" SHACKLES FRONT AND REAR (Con-fer shackles) 1" BODY LIFT Shocks and steering stabilizer are Rancho The engine has been swapped for an 88 ford 5.0 V8 with Edelbrock intake and Holley carb. The trans and transfer case are a matched T-18 granny low 4 speed and NP-205 from an F250. The engine runs strong and the transmission shifts fine. The engine has about 85k miles on it(nothing for these motors if taken care of. This one came out of grampa's grand marquis.) The rear was swapped for a ford 8.8 with 3.73:1 gears and a trac-loc limited slip. At the time of installation, all seals as well as all brake components were replaced(drums/shoes/wheel cylinders/hardware) with new, not re-man parts. The rear alone would cost $5-600 from a junkyard if you wished to do this swap yourself. That doesn't include the spring perches, u-bolts/plates or labor to grind off the old ones and weld on new. The body is solid with no rot(some surface rust on the windshield hinges and under the carpet,. but the body is galvanized from the factory to prevent rot). The factory hard top has no cracks and only needs new struts for the back window. The rear and passenger seats are in very good shape, the drivers has a broken frame and leans inward. KC off-road lights are mounted on the front fenders, but never wired, and there are flush mount tail lights installed. Also installed are a set of extended fender flares. The hard doors are in great shape, however the passenger side lock is jammed. The Bridgestone Dueler MT's(31/10.5/15) have lots of tread left. The American Racing rims are damage free(no cracks/bends) but the paint is peeling. This Jeep would make a great winter project for someone with the time and ability to build it correctly, or is a great source for parts if you're already building a jeep wrangler. I HAVE THE JEEP AT A SHOP NOW GETTING THE TRANS CROSSMEMBER AND MOTOR MOUNTS REINFORCED AND ALSO GETTING A GAS TANK PUT IN... I HAVE ALOT OF PAPERS AND RECEIPTS FOR AT LEAST $2500 WORTH OF UPGRADES AND MAINTENANCE TO THE JEEP. WILL NEED A NEW WINDSHIELD.. ALSO SOME SMALL MINOR STUFF ..
