Vehicle Detail

Someone is going to get an amazing car. Up for auction is this mint condition, low mileage (~46,000 miles) 1992 Subaru SVX. The interior is simply immaculate – as close to new as you are going to find. The seats show almost no wear, and the suede and all vinyl surfaces look like new. The exterior is in almost the same condition. The paint is glossy, dent and rust free. Its an absolutely beautiful car that still gets comments everywhere I go. Everything in the car works as designed (even the airbag light, which occasionally stays on when cold outside). And like most SVX’s, I had the transmission rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago, with updated parts. I wont go into detail about SVX’s in general, since most who are bidding are familiar with this car, other than to say that the SVX is probably one of the most under-appreciated cars out there. With all-wheel drive and a flat, powerful six cylinder engine, it was considered far ahead of its time. In winter weather and with snow tires, nothing will stop this car. This has been a wonderful car (it’s my 3rd SVX) and I’d love to keep it, but I have too many cars and so something has to go. Please note that the wheels on the car are the mounted snow tires and do not come with the car. The wheels that come with the car are the standard SVX wheels, and if you’re interested, I’ll even throw in an extra set (from a prior SVX I owned). Feel free to email me with any questions you may have, and happy bidding On Mar-06-11 at 16:15:27 PST, seller added the following information: 3/6/11 - changed over from the snow tires to the standard tires and noticed that the ABS light comes on. I figure I must have disconnected an ABS wheels sensor. If I can't get to it to fix by the end of the auction, I'll reduce the selling price by $100.
