1964 Volkswagen Convertible Bug/Beetle. 1200 cc motor. 4 speed manual transmission. Electrical system is still 6 volt. All wiring intact and present. The headlights/ tail light lenses are boxed and come with the sale of the car. This convertible VW does need restoration but wont really need much. The convertible top frame is off and wood bows do need replacing. Convertible frame pictured comes with the car. This vehicle has solid rocker panels as well as solid heater channels. Doors are solid and shut solid. All factory glass is there with the exception of the front windshield. There is a glass rear window for the convertible top. Year and model correct engine deck lid with the rare rain gutter assembly completely intact. Deck lid is in very good condition. This 64 also has the correct rear view mirror for a VW convertible. AM Blaunkpunt stereo is in the dash. Dash appears to be uncut/ unaltered. Stock steering wheel ** The car sat in a barn in Northern California since 1977. I have never attempted to start the motor. It does turn over by manually turning the pulley. The transmission is a four speed manual. I have too many projects and unfortunately I choose to part with this one at this time.
