1978 Lincoln Continental Mark 5 Bill Blass Designer Series 460 C.I. engine. Original 1978 Motorcraft spark plug wires, C-6 transmission shifts beautifully. Dark brown with tan top. Sun Roof works good. It actually opens and closes. Wow! It doesn't leak unless it comes a flood. The hide-away headlight doors open and close fine also. This car in 1978 and even today is the cat's meow! If you like old school cool, then you need this car. You can have a 70's Retro Flash-Back. It has maroon, wine-color leather interior, miles to empty fuel gauge, tilt wheel, power brakes work really good; had a new master cylinder installed recently. Also, rear disc brake pads, and as you Ford Heads all know, these big tanks have 9 inch Ford rear ends. The dash is not cracked anywhere, door panels are in really good shape. The doors shut good and the power windows work good, both sides, the little triangle smoker windows in the doors go up and down like they're supposed to. It has the solid aluminum wheels. If they were polished, they would really look good! It has whitewall tires that are really in good shape 70 to 80 percent. It has some small rust on the trim around the vinyl roof just above the rear wells. Some Bill Blass Lincolns on eBay have gone for 3K and up. This car sold new at Cloverleaf Lincoln Mercury in Decatur, Alabama to a feller named Vern Church. It has the gold plaque on the dash with his name on it! I call the car "Vern"!!
