1980 Mercedes 240d with 58,597 miles on the clock. I love this car but we just moved to Del Mar and parking is an issue. Rather than pay for storage I am willing to part with it. It would make a great commuter or around town car. History and Records This car was originally purchased in Santa Barbara. I am the 4th owner and put very little miles on it. I have all the original documents for the car, the complete owners list, and all receipts of work from the last owner. The maintenance manual only goes to 10K, then the records pick up around 40K. Mechanical Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. Everything works except the cruise control (I believe it is a $75 dollar part). I just drove it nonstop 700 miles to Del Mar at 70-75mph with absolutely no issues. Body and Paint There is no rust on the car. It looks like the hood was resprayed but I can't confirm that for sure. There are 3 tiny dings in the body that I found (2 on the rear corners and one on a side door panel. While the car looks great overall I would rate the paint a 6/10 as it has some spiderwebbing an oxidation. If you have any questions just call me: 775.232.6155- Graham This car is sold as-is
