I am offering this STUNNING AND GORGEOUS 1978 Mercedes 450 SL. The car has been kept in the garage all times. It has two tops.The car was just recently serviced and is in great running and driving condition.The car only has 141300 original actual miles (extremely low miles for a vintage SL).Current CA registration through September 2011.Books and manuals are included.The car was always from dry California with absolutely no rust.The car is completely stock and original.The tires almost new.This is definitely a low mile survivor that was kept in gorgeous condition.The doors,trunk,and hood all close perfectly.The body is factory straight and has no sun damage anywhere.Numbers matching car with no previous accident history.Driving this car down the street is such a pleasure.The car came standard with the fuel injected V-8 motor(very reliable and trouble free).The car runs and drives like a dream.The car has both the original hardtop and softtop.The black canvas soft top has NO tears.The hardtop is in excellent shape.The gorgeous black text interior is spotless.The seats are very good shape.The original factory dash pad is in very good condition.The trunk is totally original and has never had any rust.It does have the original tool kit and spare tire.The spare tire holder and battery tray area are in perfect original shape with no holes or rust.The car is in amazing condition both cosmetically and mechanically.No work is needed to drive this car to your nearest show or special event.This 33 year old gem are becoming hard to come across.Would love to see this go to a good new home.I think it would make a great addition someone who wants a very nice old and reliable SL to show.
