This is a gorgeous and very unique 1976 silver Targa. This Porsche has only had 3 owners, and all have kept this classic vehicle pampered, mantained, and garaged. Due to spending the majority of its life in the south, it is almost completely rust free. It maintains its original rare silver paint in very good condition, with some minor scratches and a few spots where it has bubbled a bit. The interior is all original, except for the radio, and the black leather seats show signs of use and age. What makes this car very unique is that in 1991 it was sent back to the factory in Germany to be fitted with wider fenders, whale tail, and a 1978 3.0L engine. The updated body styling widens the fenders for a more agressive look, while the 3.0 adds power and reliability. This Targa has a low 136,625 original miles, and the new engine and suspension only have 14,000 miles. It is in great running condition, a very clean car. I have many of the later service records and an original Service Manual plus other Porsche manuals. Fuch wheels/tires are excellent. These are stock Porsche wheels with new tires, and wider rear tires...a great look! A clear-clean title and it also qualifies for antique registration. In the last 3 to 6 thousand miles, here is what has been done: New clutch cable, New shifter ball socket with coupler and bushings, New clutch fork (clutch inspected and found to be in fine shape),two new heater hoses, new distributor cap and rotor and points, new fuel pump, new brake light bulbs and new switch under brake pedal, transmission was inspected and all clean inside, regular oil change with filter was done, front and rear end alignment and all tires balanced and brakes inspected, air/fuel mixture was machine adjusted to 4 to 5 thousand feet and fuel system was cleaned. There is nothing left to do to this 911 except enjoy and drive. Some additional upgrades that have been done to this Porsche are: Electric mirrors, Power windows, Electric antenna, Porsche road/fog lamps, Porsche air dam, Pressure-fed chain tensioner, Auxiliary oil cooler (18.5qts.total) with front t.cold air window, 21mm/ 27mm torsion bars, Shock tower stabilizer bar in front/adjusted, Weltmeister Antisway, Koni adjustable shocks/set up, Steering dampner, Bump steer kit, Turbo tie rods Shipping and Payment: Buyer to arrange pick-up or transport.
