Vehicle Detail

Up for sale here today, is my 1970 Triumph TR6. It is a solid car, with low miles 56K! This car is very clean through-out. I purchased this car last year, the I drove it a bit in summer and parked it (currently winter here as you can see :) I do have current plates and registration on it. The early TR6's like this, have the nice chrome bumpers, not the rubber ones! also more powerfull then the later models, this is a fast little car! The engine has excellent performance, transmission shifts well. very good speed. I believe the interior is original, and really nice! dash is uncracked, wood is nice, guages all work. even the heater works! I believe it is the original top, which is in very nice shape, I didn't put it down because of the weather. But it is nice, with great top frame. Glass is great, comes with a 1 year old high end CD/MP3 player, but this is the only non factory upgrade done, but is nice to have :) I also have the top boot and tonneau cover, as well as owners manual and various receipts for work carried out. tires are NEW, chrome is excellent! The body is very solid with only nominal bubbling starting around the headlights, has NOT come through. Rockers look good, no visable external rust. as is trunk floor etc. There are signs of some previous repair to the undercarriage. but very solid overall In all a VERY tidy little car that presents well, paint is older, but still looks good. some minor flaws to the paint from age. Engine bay is super clean, the car starts in ANY weather even -30deg.! The ignition key sticks a bit, so after it starts, you have to rotate the key back a little, I think the internal spring in the ignition isn't working, I am used to it, but an aftermarket ignition is very inexpensive. I had to sell one of my toys, as you can see in the pic, I also have an e-type, unfortunately the TR6 drew the short straw :( I'm sure the new owner will enjoy this car, because of it's age the car is sold as is, I would recomend having a look at it before bidding. I am available most evenings and weekends and would be more then happy to show the car and let you drive it. I also reserve the right to end the lisitng early. No perfect, but really very nice overall! Any questions, please email me, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. On Feb-27-11 at 15:13:01 PST, seller added the following information: I have had a couple questions about the undercarriage repair. I added a picture, it looks like there were a couple non factory welds, I am not sure if it had floor board repair etc. at some point in it;s life (likely for a car that is 41 years old), as you can see it's solid, but thought it was worth mentioning. cheers!
