He was very please with what he saw. He said that I described the truck very acurately. He wanted it bad, but he'll have to wait for the auction to end. One thing I wanted to be perfectly clear on is the condition of the transmission. As the prospective buyer drove it, He began to understand it's issue. As apposed to it truly slipping, it has more of a very slight chudder when starting out from a stop SOMETIMES. Also, when going into OD, there is a slight "chud chud" right before it is fully into OD IF you really press down with your foot on the accelerator. If you don't and ease into OD, it acts just fine. It only lasts for a half to one second when it "chuds". There isn't ever a situation where the tranny completely looses its grip to send the RPM's up. Once its fully engaged into OD (or any other gear for that matter), you can expect normal opperation. It opperates normal during all other stages of use. Personally, I think its more on a torque converter issue than a transmission issue, but I am no mechanic. Again, I use the truck every day and still tow my two-horse trailer and 16 ft flatbed (with 8n Ford tractor on it) around. I hope this makes since and helps you with your decision.
