FOR SALE: 2005 TRIUMPH speedmaster. first of all we are not MOTORCYCLE dealers, we ARE new car dealerships selling chrysler dodge and jeep vehicles . years ago we used to call motorcycle dealerships for buy figures when we went to trade in motorcycles. we seldom ever traded for them so one day i figured we have lost enough business and started checking ebay prices as to what they have SOLD for,NOT what did not sell. this is what i started allowing for them and have been trading them in since and selling them on ebay. it gives the bike owner a good trade in and we sell the new car or truck. the new ebay buyer gets a bargain over buying one new .i.e. he gets the depreciated price so EVERYBODY WINS. now back to the bike.. it was traded in on a new jeep. it is in gorgeous condition only driven 8,000 miles from new. i personally am a big motorcycle collector,and have many triumphs of days of old,so i was more than familiar with the new bonnevilles. the speedmaster i was not aware of.so out of curiosity i was anxious to take it for a ride..here is a brief description of the bike and ride i took it on:.... first of all the speedmaster is a sporty foward controls, bonneville. this one sports a cool solo seat and fancy rear luggage rack seat trim bar. the paint is REALLY nicely done with red/black and pinstriped between the 2 colors with the classic british tradition of gold between the 2 colors. this bike has really good acceleration ..not a suzuki gsxr,but you don't buy this bike to ride 170 mph this is a cool cruiser and VERY confortable .the handle bar risers and solo seat with forward controls make you naturally want to arch your back, which is the key for tireless riding. i was really impressed at how comfortable the bike is. now for cosmetics. i could not find one thing wrong with it no corrosion on any of the nuts./bolts,nothing,ANYPLACE. it looks like a bike less than 3 months old.even the tires are like new.these bikes have turned into nich market bikes,like ducati's, moto guzzi,as well as bmw. they are a high quality bike and as dependable as your better japanese bikes WITHOUT THE COOKIE CUTTER LOOK of everyone elses bike. this is "DIFFERENT" and when i was a kid, triumph was king. they were the small block chevys of their day. nothing could touch them in style or speed. new i must say these bikes are not the best buy when it comes to depreciation,but used THEY ARE A BARGAIN. i am selling this bike at NO RESERVE.WITH A VERY FAIR BUY IT NOW PRICE for the person who doesn't want to hassle with someone with a lightening fast computer to win the bid the last 3 seconds of the auction. i am starting it out for $4200 with a buy it now price of $4500. i would venture to say in 10 years this bike will still be worth within $1,000 of what the winning buyer will pay for it. it is a no brainer,somebody is gonna get a bargain here. again we are not motorcycle dealers we trade them in as a convience to customers in order to sell them a new chrysler product. we are not looking to make a profit on the bikes but rather to get our trade in value; back. any questions you are welcome to call me personally:352-598-7431 or home evenings 352-595-5079 my name is terry and i am one of the principals of the group of dealerships we have in central florida. concerning transportation,i can help you with insured motorcycle carrriers. i know exactly how to get good prices on enclosed shipping to your door.example: to california=$400 to new england approx $300 to denver $350 to ohio,indiana,etc$250-$300 call on specific location.good luck bidding!!! someone is going to get a inexpensive ride that not everyone else has at the local watering hole....and oh yes NO ONE will rag you for not owning a harley and put you down for riding a jap bike .TRIUMPH is a universal "COOL" BIKE NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO OR RIDE. they are a rock solid dependable bike as well . s
