Never any accidents, all original body panels and paint, and most importantly a STELLAR service history at the Mercedes dealer. This car was serviced regularly, garaged, and it shows. It needs nothing but a new owner, and looks/drives like a brand new car. Trust me, there is nothing more expensive on this earth than a cheap AMG Mercedes. Some of these cars have been neglected, leak, need airmatic work, rattle, and generally need expensive repairs. It’s easy to buy one for $23K and then put $8K or more into it in the 1st year of ownership. Not this one! IMPORTANT: Multiple complete inspections have been done recently, including by an authorized Benz dealer, so there are NO worries in buying this car. It is truly ready to go, and does NOT need ANY repairs like many of them out there. NO HIDDEN PROBLEMS. Ask the other sellers you are considering buying from if they will take their car to an authorized Mercedes Benz dealer for an inspection and fix whatever they find; their answer will be NO, I guarantee it. With this car, it’s already been done, so no worries for the next buyer! Here's the deal: -- It's a 2004 S55 AMG supercharged V8 sedan in 040 black over charcoal/black leather, burlwood trim, and black carpets. It has 56,xxx miles, looks like a million bucks, and drives like a million bucks too! These photos are all taken after a wash and vacuum. No detailing of ANY kind yet! – -- Exterior 9.75 out of 10 (I'm finicky) - Fantastic overall condition paint, body, glass, and trim. No dings, no dents, no scuffs, some surface scratches but most of those will come out in detailing. This car looks great, with a deep shine to the glossy black paint that's like looking into a mirror. This car looks great even under fluorescent light in a garage, and will look amazing after detailing. -- -- This S55 has never had any accidents, and wears all her original body panels and bumpers. All the paint is all original. Lower side-body moldings are in great shape. Chrome, rubber, glass, trim is all very nice. No oxidation, fade, wear, rust, etc. Headlights and windshield are clear as well. Nothing like a southern CA car, and this one has never left California ever! -- -- Look at the body panels.....they are perfectly straight. -- -- The OEM 18” AMG triple-chromed alloy wheels are shod with tires that are pretty much worn out. But at the buy-it-now price, I will mount and balance a near-new (85%+ tread remaining) set of Falken Sport tires in size 245/45/18 front and 265/40/18 rear worth close to $1200! Wheels are true with no bends. This S55 drives straight as an arrow at any speed you choose. -- -- Interior 9.95 out of 10 - The interior overall including all seating and door leather, seat padding, dash, console, and carpets are in amazing original condition. No dash cracks, carpet rips, and ZERO wear of any kind on the leather (driver’s bolster shows zero wear too which in these cars is very rare). Everything looks and feels near-new; you can’t even tell anyone has been in the car. No smoking ever. None of the usual broken storage compartments, missing cup-holders, stress-cracked wood, etc.-- -- The door panels and burlwood trim are also in great shape, like the rest of the car. -- - Even the trunk and spare are mint. -- -- This car is loaded including full leather, heated/cooled front seats, dynamic drive pulse/active front seats, rear seat package, keyless-go, distronic cruise control, COMAND navigation, parking sensors, moonroof, bi-xenon headlights, side sunshades, trunk closer, and more. It even has the power rear sunshade. -- -- There’s even nice quality aftermarket tint on the windows -- -- Electrical 10 out of 10 - All lights, switches, radio, windows, wipers, seat motors/memory, and power mirrors work perfectly. Headrest motors, vacuum lock system, etc. all operating properly. The HVAC system is fast to respond, and perfect with hot heat and ice-cold A/C. -- --Mechanically 10 out of 10 - Engine starts, idles, runs, and revs to redline in every gear smooth and strong. Transmission is smooth yet aggressive, and downshifts eagerly. This S55 runs at high speed with no vibrations or noises. There are no leaks. -- -- Engine is strong and VERY eager to run, transmission smooth and ready to drop down two gears at your command to rocket you past slower traffic. When you floor the throttle in this car, you’d better be prepared to arrive where the car is pointing RIGHT NOW. Brakes are solid and pedal feel is firm. Suspension is tight like new, but floats like on a cloud just like an Airmatic Benz is supposed to do. Steering nicely weighted with no play in the box. This car drives and handles like new. -- -- This car has her books, working remote keyless-go key, and ALL warranty service history since new ALL at Mercedes dealerships. It’s undergone three complete inspections; one cosmetic with paint meter, the other two mechanical/electrical/body/frame. You name it, it’s been looked at! Sunroof switch along with engine/trans mounts were replaced by Mercedes. The car was flawless otherwise, and is now 100% ready for the next owner. With only 56K miles, it’s not even broken in yet. All you have to do is drive. -- -- If someone selects the buy-it-now option, I will provide the following: the pictured set of 18” Falken Sport tires, a full $200 detailing including engine bay, carpet shampoo, leather conditioning, orbital polishing, etc. I'll also include brand new Mercedes OEM floor mats, and ToughGuard paint protectant. If the deposit is not received within the required timeframe and alternative arrangements acceptable to us are not made, we reserve the right to make the vehicle available for sale to another buyer. The remaining balance is due within five days of making the deposit. You must scan/email or fax us your state issued driver’s license after you make the deposit. We also require proof of insurance prior to delivering any vehicle. As final payment for the vehicle, we will accept a bank/cashier’s check, bank loan check, wire transfer, or cash. We will not release the vehicle and/or title until funds clear back to the issuing bank. If you pay cash, you can pick up the vehicle immediately. If you pay by wire transfer the vehicle will be available for pickup as soon as the wired funds are available in our account. If you pay by bank/cashier’s check, you will have to wait for the title until the funds clear back to the issuing bank unless alternative arrangements are made. If payment is made using a check we will hold all vehicles and titles until the funds clear back to the issuing bank. Bidder’s Age: You must be 18 years of age or older to bid. Storage Terms: Once a vehicle has been paid for in full, we will store it free of charge for five (5) calendar days and at nineteen ($19) dollars per day after that. Liquidated Damages: In the event that the winning bidder refuses to honor his/her obligation to purchase the vehicle, we shall be entitled to liquidated damages from that bidder in the amount of two thousand dollars plus two hundred dollars per one thousand dollars of the total purchase price of the vehicle.
